Expanded Perlite

Perlite is a volcanic glass that has gone through high temperatures and has it’s size expanded considerably acquiring a very high porosity. This allows it to withold large amounts of water. In the PF TEK method is used to keep a high humidity condition in the fruiting chamber by slow evaporation.
